The Warriors of Heaven and Earth – Hindi Version Lyrics with English Translation

I am a die-hard fan of AR Rahman like many people across the country. But I just realised very few Indians who know about his international project, Warriors of Heaven and Earth. The soundtrack of the movie has been composed by AR Rahman. The main theme song – Warriors of Peace has been composed with the same tune in three different languages.

The lyrics of the Hindi version ‘Khamoshi Mein Pukar Hai’ has been sung by Sadhana Sargam.

Background:
Khamoshi mein Pukar hai,
Aahon ka bazaar hai
Tanha dil bezaar hai
Aaja hum is paar hai

Main Lead:

Sehra mein aayi hai shaam,
Dooba din karke salaam,
Sard Hawa ka jhonka tere naam,
Talwaaron ko apne de aaram.
Dharti ke is aangan ko
Khoon se na rang daaman ko
Hona tha jo woh ho chuka.
Hota hai khud waqt dawa
Teekhi yaadein bhool hi jaa
Ashkon mein doobi hai kyun yeh jaan
Sooraj kal phir aayega,
Jeevan chalta jaayega
Palne de armaano ka jahaan
Kyunki tu tanha hi nahi hai,
Sang tere hum.
Dil ki aankhon se dekhe hai tujhko har dum,
Har Lamha.

Mujhko de aawazein tu,
Jab bhi chaahe saathi tu,
Jaise parbat chhalke saagar mein
Mushkil mein aasani hai
Takleefo mein raahat hai
Inse hi aage nikal ja tu
Apne bhi khyoye tune,
Aansu bhi paaye tune,
Himmat ko manzil dega tu.
Kyunki tu tanha hi nahi hai,
Sang tere hum.
Dil ki aankhon se dekhe hai tujhko har dum,
Har Lamha.

Khamoshi mein Pukar hai (x2)
Aahon ka bazaar hai,
Tanha dil bezaar hai,
Aaja hum is paar hai.

The lyrics are very well written and they are quite meaningful. I am giving a rough translation of it in English. I hope you’ve found it useful. Will be back soon!

My Thoughts…

As the days go by, as the nights go by,
All I hear is a very silent cry,
The world is changing, so am I
I just wish time would never go by..

Time heals injuries, Time heals wounds
But time does not heal the scars
Which are foerever enclosed in the heart
Locked behind bars

Yet all the sweet moments,
Seem to be in my hand now
I wish to stop time
But i dont know how!

They say time waits for no one,
And I know its true
But i can still wish for it…
As all of us do.

The Deathly Hallows

I am perhaps one of the maddest people to exist on earth. What makes me madder is that I am a die hard Harry Potter fan. I have lived in that world more than our material world. After two years of loooong waiting, I finally had, in real, the seventh book in my hand.

I sat down to read it. My first expressions were a lot like “whoa” and “no way!”. But as the pages went by, a sense of boredom started creeping into me. My earlier expressions were followed by “what nonsense” and “how boring”. The more I read it, the more I couldn’t believe my eyes!! and then there was the end of another mournful chapter. I slammed the book down thinking it’d be better if I just slept. Over the days, I was in no hurry to read the book and now that I have finished reading it, its review time!!

I must say, JK Rowling must have decided to use cruder language to honor the last book. Who comes, who goes, who dies!! They have been killed just for mere entertainment. And Harry, I must say has just turned to a lazy brat. For months they do nothing and one fine day, everything happens. And this is a periodic incident. The idea JK Rowling christened the Deathly Hallows is something at least I could not digest.

I must agree that the plot was amazing. But is this what people who truly understood the Harry Potter series had asked for? Definitely not for me. It seemed to me More like the average superhero movie where the hero kills the evil guy, wins the girl and has many kids. What had set Harry apart from others just because of these facts was now just like any other.

All in all, a good book but definitely nowhere a Grand end to the Potter series. Miss Rowling probably never realized that if she had wanted, people would have had to accept Harry Potter as a dead wizard.

If I were to say something to JK Rowling, it would have to be something like “You had created a wonder.. And you could have made it into the best wonder if not for how you ruined it for all of us.”

So cheers people… Enjoy reading…

If you do come across other nicer books, kindly let me know..!!
